Heidi Beachley
My yoga journey started in the winter of 2005 when a friend dragged me into a Hot Yoga studio reluctantly. After class, I decided the path of yoga was the one I’d been seeking my whole life and dove heart first into a Hot Yoga Teacher training.
I have seen miracles happen to people, or seekers (a sadhaka) that have a constant and determined practice (abhyasa). Those who dare step into this practice will heal emotional wounds, strengthen their bodies and minds.
Yoga goes way beyond the physical sheathes. It dives into the realm of spiritual enlightenment, and endless possibility. I teach yoga with a focus on anatomy, intensity, and humor. I instruct asana, anatomy, yoga nidra, meditation, and teach a 50 hour Yin Yoga Intensive training with the primary focus on Yoga Therapy. One of my favorite parts of teaching yoga is facilitating yoga retreats in Panama, Mexico, and India. My hope for the future is to study in Pune, India at the Iyengar Institute.
