Heritage of Rajasthan and The Bank of the Holy River Ganges, Rishikesh (The birthplace of
yoga).
This is a travel intensive tour and we will do yoga mostly in the mornings before travel,
sometimes we will practice at night when we have time to get grounded. Below is a brief
break-down of what you can expect. Also, we ask that you let go of any expectations, you
never know what road will have an accident with a cow, or a traffic jam exists. We have to be
very flexible and go with the flow when traveling to this incredible land!

There is a certain magic about traveling through Rajasthan, which is, unequaled by another
place in the world. Everything in Rajasthan is breathtakingly beautiful impressive and
fascinating. Amazing legends of heroism and romance still resound from its equally amazing
architecture that still stands to narrate its tale of a bygone era.
Tour program
Day 01 Friday Feb. 2nd
Arrival in Delhi by flight (time pending). Arrival in Delhi
by flight, on arrival transfer to hotel for wash & change, after early lunch at hotel depart for
sight seeing.
Delhi the Capital of the Republic of India is a fascinating city with complexities and
contradictions, where the past co-exists with the present. Many dynasties ruled from here and
the city is rich in the architecture of its monuments. Delhi is not only the present metropolis of
India but also a necropolis. Located on the banks of the river Yamuna, Delhi has witnessed
the rise and fall of many cities over the last five millennia.
Overnight in Delhi. Hotel Regent Grand or similar.
Day 02 Feb. 3 rd
Delhi / Jaipur (245 Kms/06 hrs drive)
After breakfast, leave for Jaipur, on arrival transfer to hotel.
Forts, palaces, architectural marvels and tales of valor all in their own way, bear testimony
to the glory that Jaipur is and was just after Sawai Jai Singh conceived it in 1727.
*In evening, you will be taken for Rajasthani folk dance with dinner.
Overnight in Jaipur. Hotel Bissau Palace or similar.
Day 03 Feb. 6th
Jaipur sight seeing.
After breakfast leave for Amer Fort. Also, visit Jaigarh Fort where you can see worlds biggest
cannon on display. Both Amer and Jaigarh Forts hold the attractions of Rajput architecture,
on the way back from Amer fort we will visit Meera Bai temple and meditate there.
Meera Bai was a princess Hindu mystical and a devotee of Lord Krishna from Rajasthan.
She was one of the most significant figures Sant of the Vaishnava bhakti movement.
Born: 1498 – Died: 1547.
Meera was a princess. Her father, Ratan Singh, was the youngest son of Rao Duda ruler of
Merta and belonged to the Rathore clan. Rao Duda was son of Rao Jodha ruler and founder
of Jodhpur, late afternoon visit of City palace.

Day 04 Feb. 6th
Jaipur – Pushkar (120 Kms/03 hrs)
After breakfast leave for Pushkar, on arrival transfer to hotel, after lunch
Visit the famous Pushkar Lake and Hindu temples, dinner in hotel.
Overnight in Pushkar. Hotel Pushkar Palace or similar.
Day 05 Feb. 7th
Pushkar / Ajmer 30 km 1h by bus / Haridwar by night train 19031 Yoga Exp
dep from Ajmer Arrive at Haridwar.
After lunch in Pushkar, leave for Ajmer, on arrival visit and evening light dinner and transfer
to Ajmer rly station.
Overnight in Train.
Day 06 Feb. 8th
Arrival at Haridwar Railway Station
On arrival welcome and transfer to Kankhal at Ashram Shiv Shakti Peeth.
Haridwar is located Bank on the holy river Ganga 200 km north from Delhi. Haridwar is a
spiritual place. The Holy River Ganga; the biggest festival in the world called Maha Kumbha
Mela which accord every 12 years in 4 holy cities in India.
Overnight in Kankhal. Shiv Shakti Peeth Guest House or Similar.
Day 07 Feb. 9th
Haridwar- Rishikesh 30 Km 1 hrs drive.
After breakfast leave for Rishikesh, on arrival transfer to hotel, dinner in hotel. Overnight in
Rishikesh. Hotel Great Ganga or Similar.
Day 08 Feb. 10th

Day 09 Feb. 11th
Rishikesh

Day 10 Feb. 12th
Rishikesh / Delhi 250km 6h drive.
After breakfast leave for Delhi, on arrival transfer to hotel, evening visit of Sikh Temple
Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, dinner in 5-star restaurant.
Overnight in Delhi. Hotel Regent Grand or Similar.
Day 11 Feb. 13th
Delhi/Depart Home
Morning after breakfast leave for International airport (flight timing pending).
to connect flight for Home.
